Lutheran Youth Fellowship
Immanuel L.Y.F. (Lutheran Youth Fellowship) is a group of committed Christian youth. The youth are actively involved in all areas of our church family. The youth serve on church boards, teach Vacation Bible School, lead songs, and read scriptures during worship services. We do servant events both locally and out of our immediate area. We have built fences, cleaned up brush piles and leaves, cleaned windows, painted porches, roofed a small shed, adopt-a-highway, and participated in the Relay for Life.
LYF takes every opportunity to fellowship and grow in Christ with other Christian youth. We attend the Junior High Youth Gathering at Camp Windemere. We attend the Senior High Youth Gathering in Springfield, Missouri. We also attend the National Youth Gathering every three years. The National youth Gathering involves 35,000 youth all playing and praying together.
The LYF group is a place where God's love shines through!
